Investments

We have a range of Investments to suit our clients. Below you will see an outline of some of the Investment Products we offer as part of our Financial Planning Process.

Individual Savings Accounts, also known as ISA’s, are the most tax efficient way to invest and save your money.

Three different types:

Cash ISA’s – A cash ISA works similarly to an ordinary savings account, however you do not pay tax on the interest you earn from your savings.

Stocks and Shares ISA’s – While a cash ISA is simply a tax-free savings account, a stocks and shares ISA is a tax-efficient investment account that lets you put your money into a range of different investments, including Unit Trusts and Open-Ended Investment Companies (OEIC’s).

BONDS

Investment bonds are life insurance policies in which you can invest a lump sum, which goes into a variety of funds.

They’re not the same as corporate bonds, premium bonds or fixed-rate bonds. In fact, strictly speaking, investment bonds are not really bonds at all – they are effectively a type of investment fund.

You have a choice of two types of funds within investment bonds – with-profits or unit-linked. Both have the same tax rules: tax is paid on both growth and income accrued in the fund by the insurer.
